We started on Sunday morning. It was 1500 km ahead. We passed Sognefjord (the longest fjord in the world), Sognefjellwegen (the highest mountain pass in Northern Europe).

In the evening we arrived to Trondheim. It was a good time to take a break and eat something warm - Peppes Pizza. Then we drove just a few kilometers and found a place for camping. Next morning we continued along E6 road.

Afternoon we crossed Arctic Circle. It looked there realy like on the far north. But more as longituude it is because its altitude (nearly 650 m above sea level). Moor covered with stones and heather, clouds moving just above our heads, all this formed a cold feelings.

Late evening we approached the ferry terminal in Bognes. Few kilometers before a moose jumped in front of our car and ran on the road. It took seconds but we were talking about it long time. We crossed the sea and fell asleep. Next day we woke up into rainy morning. The place wasn't very nice so we left if immediately after we fould our tents.

We took the ferry from Melbu to Fiskebol and drove to Svolvaer village. Because we hadn't eaten in the morning we cooked instant soup and ate few slices of bread. Svolvaer is one of the gateways to Lofoten. Ferries connects it to Skutvik, Narvik and Bodo. We spent there couple of hours, seeing the village browsing the shops and buying some food. Then we continued towards Stamsund. Jordi said that there was a pleasant hostel there. We made a short stop in Henningsvaer village. It's called "Venice of Lofoten".

Actually longer than in village we stayed on the top of small hill near village. There was an old boat on the rock and we took couple of funny picures there.

On the way back from Henningsvaer happened two unusual things. Firstly we saw the fox.

Secondly we bathed in the sea. Ok, saying truth we ran into and immediately out the water. It could be max. 10 C warm.

Into Stamsund we arrived late afternoon. Hostel was perfect and we were enthusiastic. The scenery and atmosphere was very very nice. We did a short walk in the village, observed how ferry brought and took goods. Some of them are transported only by boat.

Next day was amazing. Sun and blue sky over Lofoten. We decided to go around islands. Our first stop was a village called Ramberg. It is known because of a white sand beach and crystal clear blue-green water. It was a very good idea to take a rest on the fresh air after almost three days in the car. But the most exciting moment came few minutes later. Whales.

Then we continued along E10 road towards A. The village at the end of the road. We passed Reine which is considered the most scenic village in Lofoten. At about 3 p.m. we arrived to A and found the Stockfish museum. Exposition was very nice and after tour we stayed and talked a bit with the owner.

Former fish merchant abandoned his career and founded the museum. Now he owns more hoses in the village. Some of them are provided as hostel accomodation. In spite of our hunger we spent more than hour on the cliffs behind the village. Setting sun and crystal clear air created marvellous atmosphere.

On the way back we turned to side road, which led to Nusfjord. This one was wonderful. Fish factory with few fisherman houses in a bow around small harbour. Lovely shop, touris info and hostel in one house and snug restaurant opposite. We couldn't resist and sat down. Traditional food and beer was great finish of the day. Next day was a fishing moring. We took the boats and paddled around. After lunch we spent couple of hours on the hostel pier. It was a pleasant sunny afternoon.

The plan for afternoon contained three things - buy stockfish, see Lofotr viking museum and catch the ferry to Skutvik. After long hopeless dialog we suprisingly got pile of stockfish for free.

Lofotr was interesting lively museum. Maybe the things there were not original from viking age but all of them were functional. It made more realistic image of viking's life than set of excavated stuff. The viking boat was also part of museum.

In Svolvaer we bought some food and on the ferry we left Lofoten. It was a hard journey ahead. 36 hours to come to Jondal, where we had a reservation for glacier walk. With few breaks we arrived to Voss in 22 hours.

Without any discussion we stopped in the park and spent the night in the tents. In the morning we ate some soup and bread. Just in time - at 11 o'clock we arrived to Folgefonna glacier. There were about twenty girls preparing for the walk. So we quickly borrowed missing equipment and clothing. Jordi and Miso looked pretty funny.

At first we walked through ice slope and made some break for eating. Then we entered the crevices area. This was really nice. The guides had to look for the way, because the glacier is moving about tens of centimeters a day. That means every day it has a different shape.

After the walk there came the second activity. Those who wanted to climb ice-wall could try it. It was little bit slow, because we had to wait more than 1 hour to climb it in few seconds.

We returned to Bergen in the evening and pretty tired.
